Mentor Registration

Liability Insurance

We have liability insurance that covers both Mentors and Mentees on and off College sites.

Expenses

We are unfortunately unable to reimburse Mentors for travel, refreshment or child-care expenses.

Safety Checks

We police check every Mentor in order to protect both yourselves and the Mentees. We believe that this is a necessary procedure because you will be working with young and perhaps vulnerable people.
Please note that having a criminal record does not necessarily disqualify potential Mentors from working with young people. Many convictions will not be relevant; for example, driving offences.

When we receive your registration, we will send you a police check form and a declaration form. You will need to complete, sign and return them to us in the post. We apologise for this inconvenience in advance.
