For the latest on our open evenings and parents evenings visit our Open Days/Evenings page » We can help you choose a career path!Independent careers advice and guidance is provided to our students and prospective students at our Poplar site and Arbour Square by our link Advisers from Connexions Tower Hamlets College (16-19 students only) and our own Next Step Advisers (19+ students and external clients).
Welfare Advice
Careers advisers are available to advise on clients “next steps” including choosing degree courses, UCAS applications, personal statements, CV construction, job-search and training opportunities. They are also available throughout our enrolment period to advise new students on choosing appropriate courses, explain entry routes into different career areas and suggest alternative courses where THC do not offer an appropriate course. External clients can be referred to Next Step Advisers via the Next Step website. So, if you need careers advice pop in and our Careers Advisers at Poplar – via the main reception or at Arbour Square in LG11b. Appointments can be made at the main reception (for Poplar) and the student reception (for Arbour Square).
