If you are studying a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business or Computing, or relevant A Levels, such as Business or Accounts, you may be able to take an additional professional qualification and benefit from additional work-readiness preparation alongside your L3 programme. These activities are intended to improve your chances of immediate employment, enhance your access to university, and may also lead to an internship or other placement with a leading financial institution.

The ‘License to Practice – Accounting’ includes Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business (or Accounting A Level as part of your A Level choices), an AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) L2 Accounting, plus additional work-readiness preparation with the Financial Skills Academy.

This year KPMG Canary Wharf offered twenty internships to talented young locals, eleven of which were taken by Tower Hamlets College Business students. Interns are paid the equivalent of an annual salary of £17,500 per year, and get the opportunity to land a permanent role at KPMG, without the need to go to University!

This offer is only available to our most gifted and talented students. For details about License to Practice programmes, please enquire at Open Days or at interview.
