Character animation is the most demanding of creative industries and on this course you will explore its rigours.

This digitally-based course draws upon conventions established by the traditional animation industry alongside the technical and creative developments of our digital era.

You will be trained by animation professionals and lecturers well versed in advanced digital skills who will guide you in the creation and development of a storyline as well as exploring and applying fundamental principles of animation.

The learning process will also introduce a range of front line applications which will enable you to visualise and eventually realise your ideas. At the end of the course you will have a traditional portfolio of work showcasing your talents.

Entry Requirements: 
19+ by 1st September in the year of entry. A qualification at level 2 and/or a strong portfolio or showreel of creative work which demonstrates a commitment to continued study in your chosen area. An awareness of contemporary practice in your area of interest and an ability to discuss this at interview.
