If you are interested in doing a Level 1 course and you are inspired by art and imagery then this may be the course for you. The level 1 Certificate/Diploma course gives you the chance to choose different vocational modules/pathways alongside developing your Key Skills. At the end of the course you should achieve the BTEC Introductory Certificate or Diploma in Vocational Studies. The certificate is a 0.5 qualification whereas the Diploma is a level 0.5/1 qualification. On the course you can choose one of the following vocational pathways: • Business administration/ IT /Retail • Art/ Media/ Creative/ IT You will also be able to choose another module from a different vocational area. Alongside your vocational work you will develop your Key Skills (English/Maths/IT) and Employment skills.
Entry Requirements:
You don’t need any qualifications but you may have some F and G grades at GCSE. You will need to show that you are keen to study and will attend your classes.
Where this course might take me:
At the end of this course you can apply to a level 1 or 2 course in the College, or continue to train or work.
