The College is proud to be one of the first providers of this course. This exciting level 1 course provides you with the chance to gain a recognised qualification in a specialist subject, and study a full range of IT applications and electronic communication, whilst improving your understanding, employability skills and attitudes essential for success at work. The nature of the course will allow you to progress into the world of work or into further study in ICT. This course covers the use of ICT in industry and commerce and would suit a student who has just left school and would like to develop basic ICT skills or prepare for employment in an ICT related area. Subjects covered include: • Starting work in the IT industry • Working in the IT industry • Digital devices • Developing IT skills • Personal effectiveness • PC systems • IT applications

Entry Requirements: 
You will need 4 GCSEs at grade E and above, including Maths and English.
