The Diploma in Business, Administration and Finance is part of the new national qualifications designed with schools, colleges, universities, awarding bodies and employers to broaden the choice of courses for 14-19 year-olds. Diplomas are based around employment sectors at three different levels, and give young people an insight into a range of potential careers.
The Diploma gives young people functional, personal and transferable skills that are welcomed by employers, colleges and universities.

The Diploma in Business, Administration and Finance gives young people the choice to progress onto the next level (e.g. from the Higher Diploma to the Advanced Diploma or to A levels) or directly into employment. The Diploma in Business, Administration and Finance does not mean students have to pursue a career in this sector.
