Open the door to the diverse world of creative computing and media production and explore the exciting potential for design and creativity.

On this course you will learn and develop new skills in both traditional and digital techniques; written and oral communication skills, and professional studio practice.

You will complete a range of projects based around professional briefs.

For example:
• TV ident for the BBC
• Swatch Watch design
• Phaindon Book cover design

Art & Design: Learn about drawing, painting and 3D design, computer design, fashion and textiles.  You will have the opportunity to visit galleries and museums and produce your own personal art & design project.

Multimedia: Develop computer graphics-based creative skills and work with state-of-the-art Apple Mac computers. Our professional digital software includes Photoshop and Illustrator. Explore the exciting world of digital photography and motion graphics creating your very own animation following professional studio practice.

Media: Develop your film production skills by working as part of a team to plan and produce a video to be screened at the Creative Arts End of Year show. Our media studios have cutting-edge digital software used for film editing, adding sound and special effects.

If you successfully complete this course, you will be entitled an achievement bonus of up to £100, as well as a clear progression route on to the next level course in September.
