We help many students throughout the College to retake GCSE Maths and success rates are excellent for students who are prepared to work hard and do at least two hours a week of private study and homework. To retake the qualification you normally need a GCSE Maths at grade D already. If you do not have this we will offer you a pre-GCSE course that will bring you up to speed in a year, and you can then take the GCSE the following year.

The course is an intensive repeat of the entire GCSE Maths syllabus. You will be able to practice past papers, use a specialist computer program to support your learning, and use some materials specially designed to improve your understanding of topics through discussion and reflection. The course fits in with all timetables in Business, Science, ICT, Childcare and Creative Arts at Intermediate and Advanced Level, as well as with A level timetables.
