If English is your second language and you would like to improve your English, Maths and computing skills alongside learning
about working in the care field, this may be the course for you. You will learn about caring for people of different ages, preventing and dealing with accidents, how we develop, working safely in a care setting, first aid and food handling.
You will have the chance to gain a range of entry level qualifications on this course.

Entry Requirements: 
You don’t need any qualifications to do this course. English will be your second language and you should have reading and writing skills at E2 or above, but we can advise you at interview. You will need to show in your interview that you are keen to come to college and will attend your classes regularly.
Where this course might take me: 
After the course you can progress to training, work or a Level 1 course in the College.
