If English is your second language and you would like to improve your English, Maths and computing skills, alongside learning about motor vehicles, this may be the course for you. You will learn about engine cooling and lubrication systems, fuel and exhaust systems, the electrical system, brakes and transmission, wheels and tyres.
You will have the chance to gain a range of entry level qualifications on this course. You will also have a leaning plan which will help you work on individual targets.
Entry Requirements:
You don’t need any qualifications to do this course. English will be your second language and you should have reading and writing skills at E2 or above, but we can advise you at interview as you may need to do a FEYA course first. You will need to show in your interview that you are keen to come to college and will attend your classes regularly.
Where this course might take me:
After the course you can progress to training, work or a Level 1 course in the college.
