Learn about different practical and theoretical aspects of science while developing your English, Maths and Computing Skills. You will learn how to use materials and equipment to discover how things work. A work placement will give you the opportunity to experience a real working environment.

You may achieve various qualifications including OCR Introductory Level Certificate in Science, City & Guilds Entry Level Literacy and Numeracy qualifications and OCN ICT units.

Entry Requirements: 
No qualifications are required but you need to show that you are keen to study and will attend regularly.
Where this course might take me: 
After the course you can move on the Foundation Science course at the College, or continue to work. See page 70 for other Introductory Level courses.
