You will develop skills, knowledge and understanding of business, apply your learning in a practical and realistic way and gain confidence by developing independent learning skills. By investigating different types of companies and their activities through visits to local retail parks and businesses, you will learn how to work out business costs and profit, how to provide good customer service, and the different ways people are rewarded in the workplace. The course also covers personal financial management for students. All units are assessed through assignments.

Several GCSEs at grade E including English Language and Maths.

This course offers a range of career and Further Education opportunities. You can continue at Tower Hamlets 6th Form College and study for the BTEC First Diploma in Business, or apply for work in a business environment.
