This qualification is designed to bridge the competences required for both IT user and IT practitioner job roles and provide a flexible structure for learners.

- Communicating in the IT Industry
- Working in the IT Industry
And a range of other units which may include, for example:
- Computer Systems
- Database Systems
- Website development
- Spreadsheet Modelling
- Multimedia Design
Who this course is for:
This qualification is suitable for learners who wish to progress directly into employment in ICT and for those who wish to gain more understanding of the applications of ICT as a basis for other jobs.
Where this course might take me:
Successful learners can progress to a variety of qualifications including the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in IT or other National Diploma qualifications. Alternative Level 3 qualifications include the GCE in Applied ICT and the GCE in Computing.
