This course is designed for dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated individuals who wish to pursue an exciting career in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy. The course is made up of written and practical based work both of which help develop the necessary skills and knowledge required to begin your journey within this exciting and ever evolving industry. To achieve the necessary skills, training will take place in our well equipped, modern salons, with instruction from our team of highly skilled, qualified and friendly staff.

 You will study approximately 14 hours per week and some of the time will be spent in the hair and beauty salons learning about the industry and different pathways to work, personal presentation and image. You can then choose to study either hairdressing or beauty therapy at the next level.

You will cover:

  • personal presentation
  • hand care, skin care, nail art and shampooing
  • make up application and face painting
  • women's hair styling
  • using colour to create an image

You will need a uniform and kit at an additional cost.

On successful completion of this course, not only will you gain a nationally recognised qualification, but also a clear progression route onto the next level course, and an achievement bonus of up to £100.
