Jamie Oliver's Home Cooking (Adults)
Jamie Oliver’s Home Cooking course aims to give students the basic skills and knowledge to cook for themselves and other people in a healthy and nutritious way. It will enable basic catering skills to be developed alongside skills for work, English, Maths and IT. The course aims to move the students onto higher level courses and promote their practical skills, for employment opportunities.
As well as developing new cooking skills you will be studying English, Math and IT as part of your course.
Entry Requirements:
No formal qualifications, but you will be asked to complete a basic reading and writing assessment to ensure you are at the right level to study. You will have an interview.
Who is this course for?
People who would like to learn how to cook and progress further with studying catering.
Where this course might take me:
This course might take you to levels 1 and 2 in food preparation and cooking or into employment
If you successfully complete your course, you will be entitled to an achievement bonus of up to £100
Adult enrolment takes place 2pm – 7pm on the following days:
Tuesday 10 January
Wednesday 11 January
Tuesday 17 January
