This programme is for you if you want to study a more work-related course. You will study a unit each of physics, chemistry and biology. You will develop practical skills and an indepth understanding of science in the workplace. Assessment is through a
portfolio of assignments which include practical as well as research work. You are encouraged to take responsibility for
your own learning.

Entry Requirements: 
You should be interested in science and have achieved at least four GCSEs at grade D or higher, or a merit or distinction in the Foundation Science course. You will be able to take GCSE English or GCSE Maths alongside this course if you have a grade D.
Where this course might take me: 
You can study BTEC National Applied Science if you achieve a merit or distinction grade at Intermediate Level.
