In this course, students study hairdressing, health and safety, promotion of products or services and hairdressing consultation
services. They will style women’s hair using a variety of techniques, cut, colour and perm women’s hair to create a variety of looks and creative hairdressing design skills to an advanced level.

Learners will need a uniform and kit, and a work placement is essential.

Entry Requirements: 
Students should have completed Hairdressing NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
Where this course might take me: 
This course should take you into the work place or on to a foundation degree in hairdressing. Progression is to employment or to NVQ level 3.
