Our level 2 Progression Diploma courses are for adults aged 19 or over, and are a preparation for level 3 study or for employment. All courses have a strong focus on developing English and Maths skills, and all students are expected to take national literacy and numeracy tests as well as completing a portfolio. For the Progression Diploma in Science you will also study Physics, Biology, Chemistry and ICT. You will get tutorial support including employment skills such as interview techniques and CV writing, as well as developing your study skills. This course is a great opportunity for curious and conscientious students as it is the starting point for so many possibilities.

3 days per week 9.30-3.30
Who this course is for: 
Adults aged 19 or over wanting to develop maths and English skills to progress to employment in Science, Engineering or Health fields, or to further study. Many adults who are considering progression to university start by taking a level 2 progression diploma in order to develop their confidence in English, Maths and study skills. The people who do best on this course are those who like practical work and enjoy studying maths and science.
