Chrisp Street Market Community Event 27th and 28th September

The Chrisp Street Market community event held at the end of September was a great success. Around 10-15 stalls were set up in the glorious sunshine representing everyone from THC to the Metropolitan Police, Tower Hamlets Council and Docklands Light Railway. A real feeling of cohesion was in the air as people discussed the pressing issues in the local community. There really was something for everyone, with entertainment provided by bouncy castles and a talent competition showcasing the skills of budding local poets, singers and MCs.
The College stall was very busy with prospective students and enquiries about the forthcoming open evening, so much so that we ran out of prospectuses and leaflets towards the end of the day.
