Course Advisers give advice and guidance on college courses to external applicants and to students currently at the college. They attend external school and community events and are available at open evenings, advice and interview sessions and enrolment. For more information: Tel 020 7510 7777 or email email@example.com
Students can get support form Tower Hamlets Careers Service. Careers Advisers give advice on further and higher education, careers and employment. They will visit tutorial sessions to give talks on education and career opportunities and they also support students with learning difficulties.
There are two learning centres at Poplar and Arbour Square. Both have excellent study facilities, learning materials and IT facilities. We recognise that students often need different types of space, so we offer a silent working space, a quiet zone and a group work area. The centre at Poplar is open two evenings, giving students additional time to use the area. Students will find the books they need to support their coursework, textbooks and additional materials, all of high quality, up to date and relevant. So if you're studying A Levels, Carpentry or learning English you will find the materials in the learning centre. There are suites of computers with specialist and Microsoft Office software, colour printing and scanning. Students receive an allocation for printing and photocopying. Many of the resources can now be accessed from home and staff in the centres assist students with any issues they might have with accessing the network.
For further information: Tel 020 7510 7768 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Every student at Tower Hamlets College is allocated a personal tutor. The tutor works closely with each student to set challenging targets and to support every student in reaching their potential.
